Vitamin C acts as a mild antihistimine, reducing allergy symptoms without side effects.

Allergy to mold, dust, pollen, food, pollutants, etc., can be significantly reduced by taking vitamin C. Mild allergy reactions require about 2,000-10,000 mg. per day, taken in divided doses. The reason vitamin C needs to be taken several times per day is because the bidy excretes it within 4-6 hours.

For more severe allergic reactions, it may be necessary to increase the dose of vitamin C to up to 30 to 50 grams a day. When you have increased your dose of vitamin C beyond the body’s ability to absorb it, your stools will become loose. This is a phenomenon known as “ bowel tolerance.”

The most effective form of vitamin C for alleriges is Buffered Vitamin C.

For optimum immune responsiveness, take a multivitamin-mineral supplement and Flaxseed oil (1-2 tablespoons a day) along with the vitamin C.

If you receive no relief, or only slight improvement at a lower dosage of vitamin C, gradually increase your dosage until you find a noticeable improvement or total relief from allergy symptoms.

If you are taking an antihistamine, continue until the vitamin C affords significant relief. As your allergy symptoms subside, you should gradually reduce the amount of antihistimine as you increase your vitamin C intake. This process takes time. It might take one or two months to notice significant improvements or to be able to stop taking antihistimines altogether.
