Aloe Lite

Aloe Lite is a more gentle formula than the Aloe 225. Aloe Lite is a combination of three traditional herbs. It provides 150 mg of Aloe ferox, 150 mg of Slippery Elm (an herb that soothes mucosal tissue), and 50 mg of Stone Root (aka collinsonia) 3:1 extract (an herb to help shrink hemorrhoids). Aloe ferox, the primary ingredient, is a resinous extract of the skin of the Aloe frond and is a stimulating laxative herb that works dependably and predictably within 24 hours for most individuals. Based on many years of clinical experience, we find that it works reliably to relieve constipation, without unpleasant effects. Take one capsule daily, preferably with a meal. Individuals who have a slow transit time will generally want to take it in the morning, while those with a fast transit time may prefer to take it in the evening. Aloe ferox should always be taken one time daily to work overnight. Initially, while becoming acclimated, it is not abnormal to experience mild intestinal cramping and discomfort. This should cease within a day or two as a normal daily cycle is established. Some may find it necessary to increase the initial dosage to establish a normal daily cycle. If so, increase gradually, staying for several days at one level before adding a capsule. Also it is advisable to be able to remain at home while acclimating to Aloe ferox. Over time Aloe ferox tends to require a smaller, not a larger dose, to maintain the benefit. If griping or diarrhea is experienced reduce the quantity.
