Borage oil contains gamma linolenic acid (GLA), a fatty acid our bodies use to manufacture important anti-inflammatory prostaglandins. With stress, illness and age we make less of this important omega-6 fatty acid. Supplementation encourages healthy omega-6 essential fatty acid balance.
